Daegu Mukbang Time - ASMR (Makchang Gui · Dakddongjib · Yaki Udon)

Mukbang Time - ASMR
Makchang Gui · Dakddongjib · Yaki Udon

If you don't know what to treat yourself for the weekend, this will give you an idea.

We presents a mukbang ASMR that includes Makchang Gui, Dakddongjib and Yaki Udon.

Makchang Gui is a pupular food that originated in Daegu and now it's widely enjoyed nationwide. Still, many of the best makchang restaurants with the best prices are found in Daegu.

Daegu people also love to eat chicken gizzards, Dakddongjib. It's usually fried and seasoned with various type of sauces. If you like beer, you might want to have dakddongjib along with it!

If you can dare to try some spice, try some Yaki Udon. You are probably familiar with the name because of a Japanese dish that's called exactly same. However, this yaki udon is a Korean version of that stirred fried noodles but this time it is spiced with pepper sauce. If you are lover of spicy and sweet foods, this is the food for you!

Melodic Ways to Travel Around Daegu

Melodic Ways to Travel Around Daegu

I believe many of you are music lovers.
Like you take a walk, do house chores or chillax at a café, music cannot be separated from everyday life. I can feel music in many places around Daegu. Let's go along with the melody and see where it will take us.

Did you know that Korea’s oldest music listening room is in Daegu?
The first place we will visit is the Noc Hyang Music Room :)

In the 1950s, Noc Hyang Music Room was a private club for many artists, and many people say it is the best music listening room in Daegu! The place is not located at the basement of Hangchon Cultural Center.

From the signboards to the sofa and the music you hear, you can feel the vibe as if you were back a few decades ago.
Noc Hyang Music Room, which means 'music spreads all over the country with a lush scent', is a place that has 60 years of folklore history and music.
You can request songs you want to listen to just like people did songs to DJ back in the day.
It would be great if you come to the music room with your parents so that they can relive their old days through music. :)

Kim Kwang Seok Gil is not only known for busking performer, but also for a lot of fun entertainments and great restaurants and cafes.
If you come for a music trip, I recommend you schedule a full day to fully enjoy what this street has to offer.

As you stroll along the music, you will be able to see the Story House at the end of the street. The Story House, which opened on June 1st, let you soak yourself in music even more.

Daegu Trolley Bus Tour – A must thing to do in Daegu

Daegu Trolley Bus Tour
 – A must thing to do in Daegu

Mark Twain once said, “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” The reason why I started my article with this quote is that since few months, I have been seeing so many pictures where people are travelling to Daegu to enjoy Daegu Tour by a fabulous beautiful Trolley Bus, which I always wanted to do the same but never found time.

Few months ago, I came through this famous quote, and I was like YES, I do want to try new things and not feel regret once I leave Korea for not doing. And the first thing that came up in my mind was having a tour around Daegu by “Jung-gu Alleyway Trolleybus” also called as Cheongna Bus. And believe me, that was one of the most memorable things happened to me in Daegu.

Daegu Jung-gu Alleyway Trolleybus passes through all the famous tourists spots in Daegu, be in downtown or old historic places. It stops at 8 different locations and you can ride at any one of the locations and you can use the ticket to ride this trolley bus through out the day.
I started my trip from Seomun Market.

The moment I entered into the bus, I felt like being in a Limousine. It really was so comfortable and I was welcomed by some Korean families and kids.

My next stop was “Hyangchon Cultural Centre – Daegu Station”. It is basically the starting point for the trolley tour so we stopped for almost 15 minutes and during this time I drank coffee which the driver gave me and took pictures.

After that I stopped at KimKwang Seok Road, Fashion Jewelry Town and then March First Independence Road Stop.

The whole trip was amazing and very comfortable. If you are coming to Daegu, I definitely ask you to try Daegu Trolley Bus Tour and have some amazing and unforgettable time.

Operating hours: 10:00 5:45 PM (last bus departs at 5:00 PM from 1st stop)
Operating times: 7 times per day (closed on Monday and public holidays)
Departing Location: Hyangchon Cultural Center (Daegu Station)
