Daegu International Musical Festival aka DIMP is just around the corner! A number of musical lovers from across the country visit Daegu to enjoy the world’s biggest musical festival. From the famous Turandot to Spring Awakening and Polita, 26 musicals will be performed. Performing teams come s from New York, Russia, India and ect. It is a prime opportunity for you to enjoy musical in Korea. DIMF starts on June 23 and last until July 10 for 18 days. You should not miss it out, either!

Official Invitational

 

DIMF 2017 will begin with Spamalot. Spamalot is a comedy musical about the journey of King Arthur and his knight. There will be 8 other musicals performed by international artists.

Special Performance

Talented Korean aritsts will perform the famous Turandot, Sky After Rain, 55 Days and Mission. If you want to get a glimps of Korean musical scene, you should check one of these or more!

New Musical

DIMF has sponsored many artists to produce new works. 4 creative works are specially selected in 2017.

College Musical Festival

DIMF is not just about presenting musicals but it is also about creating opportunities for future talents. DIMF’s College Musical Festival is a competition for college students to showcase their performance.

All these exciting works will be performed at different venues. Venues include Daegu Opera House, Suseong Artipia, Ayang Art Center, etc. Make sure you check the location before you leave home!
