Overview
This building, built in 1932, is the modern cultural heritage as the Daegu branch of Joseonsiksan Bank, and it has been used as Korea Development Bank since 1954.

The Renaissance style building has characteristic features such as plain walls and a slab roof that emphasizes the horizon and has been designated as Tangible Cultural Heritage No. 49 in 2003.
Daegu Modern History Museum opened in 2011, donated by the Daegu Urban Development Corporation in 2008.

The expense of this project was 9,340,000,000KW for the Museum, and it is equipped with a 2-story ground, 1 basement, the exhibition room, special exhibit room, experience room, cultural lecture room, and the library with a total area of 1,971 square meters.

Daegu Art Museum

Overview
Daegu Art Museum was built as the main cultural space of Daegu was built as the cultural space to represent Daegu which will lead the trend of Daegu’s contemporary fine art such as providing the opportunity of cultural nostalgia to its citizens along with re-establishing the moderncontemporary fine art history of Daegu, discovering local artists and supporting the creative activity.

It was completed in May, 2010 after about four year’s construction after starting the construction in May, 2007 to be opened in May 25, 2011. The art museum is organized as valuable storage, educational area, office area and resting area along with exhibition room with a building of 1 basement floor and 3 floors to the total floor area of 21,701.

Daegu Art Museum is trying to provide various fine art cultures with activities through collection, exhibition, research and international exchange of fine art works and materials by each genre.

It also sets the operation objective as the role of space for self-realization to raise the cultural standard of citizens as well as the role of edutainment center based on wide range of experience.

Daegu Art Museum will fulfill its role as an art museum which is open toward to future of extending the base of fine art population and leading the trend of contemporary fine art along with providing the place of artistic encounter to the public through the discovery of artists in Daegu area, support of creative activities and mutual exchange.

Overview
Located in Daegu's Herb Medicine Alley, the Culture Center is maintained by the Yangnyeongsi Preservation Foundation. Daegu's Yangnyeongsi was a famous herb market that attracted visitors from China and Japan. The Yangnyeongsi Exhibition Hall was built in 1993 to revive the old fame and glory of the market. The exhibition features various oriental medicinal herbs as well as objects and texts related to Oriental medicine.

Weolgok History Museum(inside Wolgok History Park)

Overview
This is a history museum that displays various artifacts related to Woo Baeseon and his family, as well as artifacts relating to contemporary life. The first floor displays 500 artifacts from Woo's surroundings, and the second floor features databases. The outdoor exhibition hall recreated an old Korean home with various tools and artifacts to help visitors imagine contemporary life.
