Take a Walk on the Beautiful Old Street in Ot-gol Village(Gyeongju Choi’s Head House)

 Daegu city prepared the special tour program of the Ot-gol Village experience with great expectation for the hit of the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011.

The estate of Gyeongju’s Choi family, it offers a glimpse at the lifestyle and architecture of the Joseon era. The Baekbul Old House is designated as Daegu Cultural Artifact No. 1. Moshil, Bobondang, and Sadang established by Joseon-era scholar, Dong-jip Choi, all contain over 400 years of history.

 

Celebrated Stone wall street of Ot-gol Village is one of the 10 most beautiful Stone wall streets in Korea.

As mentioned above, the Baekbul Old House is designated as Daegu Cultural Artifact No. 1 in 2009.

They host Baekbul Old House concert every spring in an effort to popularize the Ot-gol Village.

With this charming place full of Korean traditional look I feel proud of my hometown Daegu. ^^
