The Opening Ceremony is a celebration of the opening of the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011. The exciting performances and multimedia show will bring to life the themes of overcoming challenges and achieving dreams through athletics. The performances will also showcase Korea’s harmony of advanced technology and traditional cultures. Tickets for the first evening session on 27 August include the Opening Ceremony.

Beginning on August 27, 2010, public admission tickets will go on sale for the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011. The Event will be held at the Daegu Stadium from August 27 to September 4, 2011.
