Today, we will introduce you to one of the 10 scrumptious local specialties of Daegu – Mungtigi (뭉티기)! ! ✨

✅ What is mungtigi(뭉티기)?

Mungtigi is a local dish in Daegu. It is a hanwoo (Korean beef) cut into chunks!

This dish is dipped in a sauce mix containing sesame oil, minced garlic, and red pepper powder! 🤩

A restaurant that we will introduce has a 50-year history – Nokyang

This place doesn’t just serve muntigi but they also have a variety of food such us odoregi(오도레기), daechang (대창: large beef intestines) and yukhoe (육회:seasoned raw beef tartare)!

Nokyang has also been selected as a 100-year store by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups!

While in Daegu, why not stop by at nearby Nokyanggui branch and try mungtigi?
