Today, we will introduce a place where modern and contemporary arts coexists – Daegu Arts Museum’s special exhibition called “Welcome Home: Blooming”

For only 1000 won you can see various art pieces!

In this exhibition, you can see modern and contemporary Korean art works from the 1920s to the early 2000s!

The space can accommodate around 150 people in real in so it is really perfect for a group tour!

The exhibition is divided into three sections!

‘Coexistence of Traditional and Emerging Art’ ‘격동기, New Beginning

‘Expansion and Transformation of Art’

In first section is entitled, ‘Coexistence of Traditional and Emerging Art’,

features works that modernize traditional ink-and-wash paintings and Korean Western paintings.

The next section is “격동기, New Beginning”

Throughout the exhibit, the situation in Korea, the spirit therein, was evident.

These works shaped modern and contemporary art.

Last but not the least, “Expansion and Transformation of Art” section displays the art works of Korean abstract artists and artists who showed a diverse trend in contemporary art !🎨

All the artworks here are breathtaking.
