Let us introduce you to Daegu’s new representative park, Daegu City Forest Park!

Daegu City Forest Park provides Daegu citizens with a beautiful resting area and acts as 

a role model for other city forests.

You can comfortable enjoy the park with your friends, family, and loved ones.

We recommend the Daegu City Forest Park to those who’d like to go on a light walk.

※ You can park at the public parking lot next to Seongdangmot (Seongdang pond)

Daegu City Forest Park is described as the “Urban Lung,” serving the function of lowering 

fine dust and relieving the urban heat island effect.

Daegu, also known as “Dae-frica” (Daegu + Africa), definitely needs this sort of park.

Not only does it serve the functions mentioned above, but the park also contributes t

o reducing noise, cleaning the air, and providing quality relaxation.

Daegu City Forest Park consists of seven themes: <Observatory>, <Metasequoia Road>,

 <Forest Deck>, <Ecological Pond>, <Meditation Area>, <Great Oak Road>.

With public toilets, bicycle racks, along with convenience stores and a parking area, 

the park has many useful facilities.

It being a relatively new park, opening on July 2022, it offers a great environment 

in general and for a walk as well.

As the name suggests, Daegu City Forest Park is surrounded with mountains and trees,

 creating a suburb-like atmosphere.

If you get the chance to visit the vicinity, give the park a visit to take a walk and relax.

The park is also great to visit during sunset or even during the night!

We recommend you go to the Forest Park during the afternoon, 

where the sunset is very beautiful!
