The Daegu Art Museum is arranged over 4 stories; from the basement to the 3rd floor.

Exhibition rooms are located on the first and second floors

while the art information center and the View Lounge are on the 3rd floor.

In the exhibition room on the first floor,

you can see the <Daniel Buren> exhibition.

This is a solo exhibition of the work of Daniel Buren, a French contemporary artist. His work presents observations on the specific relationship between artworks and space.

The large-scale installation <Like Child's Play>

has been introduced to Asia through this exhibition

and you can also watch Buren’s autobiographical documentary film <BEYOND TIME, AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE> here. 📽️

The exhibition room on the 2nd floor,

displays to the world the DArtist Series 2022

of artworks by artists based in Daegu and Gyeongbuk🖌️

Among them, you can see < Lee Kyo Jun's Ratio> exhibition.

‘Ratio’ is the Latin word for ‘Logos’, which means ‘reason’ in Greek

and this word encapsulates Lee’s artistic vision.

Approx. 140 artworks including paintings, photographs and sculptures are displayed in the exhibition, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of Lee Kyo Jun’s art.

Furthermore, you can also enjoy another of the DArtist Series 2022 exhibitions: Park Chang Seo’s <Position/Proposition> exhibition.

This exhibition, which is arranged under the themes of ‘memory’ and ‘landscape’,

employs a variety of media such as paintings, installations, sculptures, and videos

allowing you feel the full breadth and depth of the artist’s intentions.

Spend some time observing the world through the perspective of artists!
