1) Dalgo Tteokbokki

Dalgo Tteokbokki is a famous Tteokbokki restaurant in Daegu and is located in Sinnaedang Market on the upper side of Duryu Park.

Its most renowned dish is Tteokbokki served with fried dumplings.

 .

In K-Dramas, characters usually eat Tteokbokki using chopsticks.

However, in Dalgo Tteokbokki, it’s eaten with a spoon!

With the spoon, you can enjoy the chewy rice cake and the spicy soup together!

The dish offers a great value at 2,000 KRW per portion and it preserves the original charm of Korean tteokbokki’s sweet and spicy taste.

There’s a lovely balance of textures awaiting you when you eat it together with crispy and crunchy fried dumplings~

SungDangMotVill is a popular cafΓ© located near Duryu Park.

It’s in a renovated old house with an interior full of fresh green plants.


You order on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor features an indoor terrace,

while on the 3rd floor, you’ll find the rooftop terrace.

The 3rd floor rooftop has an outdoor terrace with seats and photo spots.

The unobstructed view and nicely decorated photo spots are very impressive

and offer you the chance to take some great photos, so don’t forget to take some!

3.    🏞 Seongdang Pond Promenade 🏞

If you have dined and had coffee, it’s time to digest them.

Seongdang Pond located next to Duryu Park is an ideal place to take a stroll.

We’d recommend you walk along Seongdang Pond Winding Road (Seongdangmot Duligil) which leads to Seongdang Pond 😊

Seongdang Pond is the largest pond in Dalseo-gu, Daegu

and it’s part of the Duryu Park.

Along with Suseong Pond, it is one of Daegu’s best-known large ponds.

Take a stroll along Seongdang Pond and enjoy its tranquility under

the clear blue sky!


4. πŸŒƒ Night views of Duryu Park night: The E-World 83 Tower in the backdrop





Last, but by no means least, you really should not miss Duryu Park’s stunning night views.

Using the E-world 83 Tower as a backdrop,

you can take great photos at night from anywhere in Duryu Park.
