The Full Moon Sights on Jeongwoldaeborum in Daegu

Hello everybody! Did you have a good Seollal? After the Seollal, the Jeongwoldaeborum (the fifteenth day of the first lunar month) will come! It is the first full moon of the year and the day, and it is a Korean holiday on the 15th of the lunar calendar. Here are two sights to watch the full moon in Daegu, Chimsan Park, and Unamji Waterside Park. 💛 Do you want to go see the moon with us?

Chimsan Park

Chimsan Park is one of the “10 Scenic Views of Daegu” and is also famous as a night view spot. It is also well known as a promenade where you can also enjoy little hiking to go up to the observatory. And it is also one of the famous cherry blossom spots in Daegu that many people visited because the cherry blossom at stairs is very pretty in spring.

The place where you can see the night view is called Chimsanjeong Pavilion. If you go up to the Chimsanjeong Observatory, you can see all over the downtown of the Daegu. Every time from sunset to night view is really beautiful.

Chimsan Mountain is also called Wausan Mountain because it looks like a cow lying down, or Obongsan Mountain because it has five peaks. On the way up to Chimsanjeong, there are five peaks made up of squares, so you can rest and go.

Unamji Waterside Park is a comfortable resting place for Daegu citizens by creating a small reservoir as a park. It is also known as the third of the “8 Scenic Views in Buk-gu”. It is also a place where the environment is eco-friendly to preserve the reservoir as it is and harmonize with the surrounding environment.

It is small, but it provides a shelter in the city center, so it is easy to access, and a deck has been created along Unamji, so many people visit the trail! Hamjisan Mountain is surrounded by Unamji, so it is a resting place and famous for hiking Hamjisan Mountain.
