The emotional Daebong-dong tour (Kim Kwang-seok Re-Drawing Road, Cafe Blank, Monamhee)

Today, I'd love to introduce several places in Daebong-dong where you can spend warm time in a sensuous space.

Kim Kwang Seok Road

With the heart of forgetting... Daebong-dong is the place where famous Korean singer-songwriter Kim Kwang-seok was born. And the Kim Kwang-seok road was built along the Shincheon road where Kim Kwang-seok was born and raised. There are various murals and works on the theme of Kim Kwang-seok's life and song.

 

You can see Kim Kwang-seok in the mural, and there are photo zone with his trademark guitar here and there.

At the concert hall, a singer-songwriter sang and many audiences sat down and enjoyed the performance.

Daebong-dong wedding street

 

The area behind Daebaek Plaza next to Sincheon Bridge and next to Kim Kwang-seok Street is called a wedding street. It is a place where many grooms and brides visit because they can prepare various things for weddings in one place, such as wedding shops, studios, and robes.

And there are many quiet hanok cafes in Daebong-dong Alley. That's why it's fun to take a walk in here.

In addition, there are many select shop and craft workroom in Daebong-dong. Even if you don't look for it in advance, sensuous spaces will capture you everywhere.

BinKhan

Let me introduce the emotional cafe located in Daebong-dong ‘BinKhan’. BinKhan located at the corner of the building. It’s a small cafe consisting of four tables inside.

It has coffee/tea/dessert/brunch. I was curious about the type of dessert, so I chose two mocha crumble (3.8), yellow cheese (4.2), butter bars and flat white (4.5) Nougatlase (4.0) ice cream as drinks.

Isn’t it look delicious to see four menus on a pretty plate? The Nugaglase ice cream that I was most curious about is a French dessert that is mixing berries and nuts in a milk base. In BinKhan’s Nugaglase ice cream, raspberries and caramelized hazelnuts are said to go in. It wasn't that sweet and it had a healthy taste with the texture of the nuts being chewed together.

The yellow cheese butter bar was crispy and salty because it had snacks, and the bread was chewy. Mocha Crumble was sweet and chewy because it has chocolate.

The interior was also full of cute props. It was a perfect cafe for drinking with jazz music.

Monamhee

Monamhee is a grocery store that you can find natural wine, goods, and props.

​There are various groceries on the shelf, so it's fun to find you wants.

There are many wines So you can see unique and diverse taste of natural wines in one place.

In the refrigerator, there are cheese meal kits and various spreads that are good to eat with wine. There was also a snack to good for wine so you can buy together. It's looks Wine and snack gift boxes are good for gifts.

Monamhee brand's own goods were also organized together. And the tableware set to be plated was well organized by type and size, so it would be good to use for parties now, the year-end season.
