Enjoy Early Christmas in Daegu (Nature Park: Miracle Christmas)

What word comes to your mind first when you think of winter? I'm sure a lot of people are thinking of Christmas. In celebration of the upcoming Christmas, we are planning to introduce you to a place where you can feel the unique warm and cozy atmosphere, which is a special festival, Miracle Christmas at Nature Park!

Nature Park Miracle Christmas

Nature Park is a radial outdoor zoo located in Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun. You can see more than 50 species and 300 animals here. In addition, it is nation's first ecological zoo with 350 species of trees and more than 100 species of flowers.

It’s a super-large zoo on a 120,000 pyeong site(396,000 m2), So there are so many things to see. And Nature Park can be divided into four main categories. First of all, there are indoor and outdoor zoos, flower gardens, and finally play gardens that can make memories for children.

As if you walk up the entrance, you can see the indoor zoo first. There is the Tropical Forest, full of cute little animals such as prairie dog, desert fox, porcupine, and capybara.

Passing through the tropical forest and climbing up the sky bridge, you will arrive at Rock Valley & Aqua Valley. You can see a variety of reptile species and turtles in here. Next to Rock Valley it’s Aqua Valley, where cute fishes live. Children will like here because they can catch a jellyfish toy in the water as an experience program.

When you come out of the indoor zoo, the Flower Garden decorated with Christmas theme is waiting for you. It is a photo zone where you can get your best photos with cute gingerbreadman, large ice cream, and macaron models. 

The outdoor zoo has a beast zone with lions and tigers, and a rabbit playground and a squirrel village. In addition, there are variety of animals, including Japanese monkeys, serls, meerkats, mongoose, alak-tailed monkeys, black leopards, and hyenas. And you can feed some animals, too.

In the play zone next to Squirrel Village, there is a trampoline for children and walking safari where you can see animals while walking on a net bridge. There is also a horseback riding experience center under the food town.

From November 20th to January 2nd, the event will be held to celebrate Christmas. Snake bracelets, peacock meetings, Alak's winter preparations, and Black Leopard's cow feet Mukbang will be held.
