Dinosaur Park, which was highlighted as a rising tourist attraction in Daegu with more than 1 million tourists in about a year since it was established in 2017, is a place where you can see traces of the Mesozoic Cretaceous Period 100 million years ago in Gosangol. In addition, it is an archaeologically meaningful place where you can understand the sedimentary environment around the huge lake through fossil dinosaur footprints, dry heat, and lotus sedimentary structures.

At the entrance, you can see the terrifying size of dinosaurs, from the Cretaceous ruler Tyrannosaurus to the enormous size of Brachiosaurus, a 25m-long herbivorous dinosaur with sails on its back, on its back. The second tourist attraction I'd like to introduce to you is the Daegu Aquarium, a sea in the city that contains various educational contents related to life, as it is officially registered as the Natural History Museum.🐟

Located on the 9th floor of Shinsegae Department Store located near Dongdaegu Station, Daegu Aquarium is the first aquarium in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province to open in 2016. Starting with sharks, red sharks, and grooper tanks, it is a natural history museum that has 35 exhibitions including photo tanks, aqua experience zones, tocovillage, manatee, and main tanks.

As I introduced earlier, the aquarium displays various exhibitions and marine life in tanks. You can see a variety of fish species swimming together in the main tank, including the Martamata turtle, which bends its neck to the side, the Humboldt penguin, which lives on the west coast of South America.

There are also unique photo zones everywhere, ranging from a photo zone that looks like it's under a tank to a swing photo zone and an emotional photo zone. In particular, the photo zone with Manatee, an animal reminiscent of a mermaid, is one of the beloved photo zones of the aquarium where you can get dreamlike pictures.
