Are you aware Korean Boknal culture, one of the hottest days in summer?
There are three days of Boknal — Chobok (July 11), Jungbok (July 21), and Malbok (Aug 10).
They change every year (under the Lunar calendar), and it's kind of custom to have a very healthy, hot dish on those Boknal.
If you're looking for food to refresh your energy, please pay attention to this blog! Today, I would like to introduce you to a healthy restaurant that is good to eat on a summer Boknal days.
1. Dajeonghan (다정한)
The first restaurant is Dajeonghan, a duck dish restaurant in Suseong-gu, Daegu.
This restaurant has a large space in the store. There is a separate room with a sitting table as well as a standing table, so if you want to eat privately, I recommend you to eat in the room.
When I sat down and ordered, I found neat and appetizing side dishes. A hearty meal is completed with vegetables and vegetables grown from the restaurant!
The popular menu here, oriental duck boiled pork, is softer and more moist than pork boiled pork. Ginseng sauce and gold powder are sprinkled on top of the boiled pork, and the subtle smell of ginseng in the homemade sauce has boosted the taste of the meat. I recommend you to wrap your side dishes with duck meat.
They prepare perilla seed soup when we're almost done with boiled pork. Perilla seed soup has a lot of medicinal herbs that are good for women. Kalguksu, which is eaten with plain soup, makes your mouth feel refreshed.
Another menu I've met at Dajeonghan is duck-munching. The amount of duck was bigger than other places, and the seasoning was not strong, so it was a taste that anyone could enjoy! I recommend you to make fried rice with the remaining seasoning. :)

2. Puzuok (푸주옥)
The second healthy food restaurant is Puzuok, a hot rice soup restaurant with thick soup. You can easily find it because it is located between the children's center in Suseong-gu, Daegu.
Puzuok genuine soup by boiling the foot, knee knee, bone soup, shank, sunny spot, etc. The white soup was filled with sliced meat. Season to taste with salt and pepper, often chopped green onions. I could feel the clean taste of the soup and the thick pot filling my stomach.
The second menu, Seolnongtang (aka Seollongtang), contains soft meat and noodles.
Unlike the basic Seolnongtang, there is a special Nongtang, so if you want to taste Seolnongtang and Dogani, I recommend a special Nongtang.
If you eat it with sweet and sour ripe kimchi and stone foil, you can enjoy the taste more harmoniously.
