I'ts time for you to introduce hidden restaurants in Daegu! This time, you can see the famed Jjimgalbi (braised ribs) of Dongin-dong style in Geomdan-dong, Yeowon Jjimgalbi Restaurant. Let's take a look at the taste of 60-year-old jjimgalbi. 😉

Yeowon Jjimgalbi, a hidden restaurant in Daegu located in a narrow alley near Costco. Restaurants that you can meet in these small alleys are most likely to be hidden restaurants. Is Yeowon jjimgalbi one of the hidden restaurants today?

Dongin-dong Jjimgalbi, which is commonly known, is a seasoned dish of spicy red pepper powder and minced garlic in a pot of beef ribs that has been crushed in Dongin-dong, Jung-gu since the 1970s. It is a dish that can only be found in Daegu. You can taste the pork version of steamed ribs in Dongin-dong, one of the "10 Tastes of Daegu".

The representative menu of the restaurant is Dwaeji Jjimbalbi, or braised pork ribs. When the pork jjimgalbi I ordered was on the table, the entire table was surrounded by the scent of garlic, and the appearance in the nickel-silver pot was really impressive. Sheep didn't look like a lot to freeze.

Unlike regular meat restaurants, the meat quality of steamed pork was exceptionally soft, and the sweet and pungent flavor of garlic permeated in between to create a richer taste. If you start cutting with prepared tongs and scissors, the amount is much more generous than you think.

It's a must thing to eat spicy jjimgalbi on top of the aromatic veg                         etables. With vegetables, perilla leaves, lettuce, and red pepper are prepared, and soybean paste stew with rice is cooked with savory soybean paste stew, not fresh red stew, so that it can be mixed with spicy jjimgalbi.
