Experience NATURAL DAEGU Stamp Tour: Apsan Mountain Observatory & Old House of Poet Yi Sang-hwa

As you know, Daegu has run a Stamp Tour program to encourage people to travel the city. This time, we prepared a "real" content, experiencing 2 of 30 attractions and reviewed them! Please follow the remarkable tourist attractions of Daegu with us. :)

Apsan Mountain Observatory

The very first attraction is Apsan Mountain Observatory at Daemyeong-dong, Nam-gu — the spot you could overlook a panoramic view of the city.

You could get off the bus in front of the Apsan Mountain Park management office. Several buses such as 410-1, Nam-gu 1, and Nam-gu 1-1 stop at the spot, so people who use public transportation could visit the place easily.

If you go up the entrance toward the Nakdong River Victory Memorial Hall, you could arrive at the ticket office in front of you, which runs every 15 to 20 minutes. You could find out the operation time through the departure board.

When you board the cable car, you could see the gorgeous scenery of Beepasan Mountain and Apsan Mountain. Just make yourself at home, in the cable car, and enjoy the view full of green woods.

When you get off the cable car, you could encounter 2 exits. If you head to the right side, you could arrive at Daegu's scenic spot, Apsan Mountain Observatory, soon.

The distance is around 200m from the exit. When you arrive at the observatory at the right time, probably the sun sets, you could meet the bloody-red sunset with spectacular view.

The SOPRA rooftop observatory is also located at the top of the cable car gate. The city's lights will shine brighter at night, so it'll be ideal for you to visit one hour earlier from the time of sunset.

Now, it's time to participate in the Stamp Tour program! If you enter the stamp certification event at the Natural Daegu Camping Festival, you can get the stamp of Apsan Observatory.

Visit the Apsan Mountain Observatory, where you could see the city at a glance, and plus get a stamp!
