Forest Interpretation at Palgongsan Mountain

People who live their daily lives in a fast-paced time. There are times when you want to escape from the hectic reality and enjoy the relaxation with nature, and for these people, we invite you to experience programs that you can feel and find in nature, Palgongsan Forest Interpretation.

-Palgongsan Forest Interpretation

Palgongsan Forest Interpretation is an educational experience program that listens, touches, and experiences various plant and tree characteristics and natural environment, starting with the interpretation of Palgongsan Natural Park. This program will be held in two locations: the Topgol Ravine and the Gatbawi Rock.

For Topgol's program, a recommended course is given to each visitor — and in the case of Gatbawi Rock, you could gather in the parking lot and enjoy the forest through stories about native plants of Palgongsan Mountain and experiences on a wide deck.

Especially you could see artificial rock climbing wall, Palgongsan Donghwa Camping Grounds, and Palgongsan Mountain's Kkalttakgogae (gasped pass). I recommend you to enjoy a new experience where you could camp with your family and take note of Palgongsan's story.

The Palgongsan Forest Interpretation program is divided into two types: regular type and irregular type. The program of regular type consists of two times, 10 am to 12pm and 2 pm to 4 pm. The irregular type is designed to experience Palgongsan Forest Interpretation as the time requested.

A career exploration program for children would also be an interesting experience, with a deep understanding of Palgongsan Mountain and an "I'm also Forest Interpreter" training course, providing an opportunity to understand and experience the role of forest interpreters. Also, it is composed of a free semester connection course and a summer vacation course, so please refer to it.

Last but not least, there is an experience program where children could enjoy not only hearing and sight but also touch. The two-time weekly ecological craft program uses natural objects to produce artifacts and provides an opportunity to naturally become acquainted with nature (For this program, there are 30 people on a first-come, first-served basis).
