Daegu City Trip by Subway: Look Around Daegu Metro Line 2

What kind of transportation do you use when you go on a trip?

There are many ways, but Daegu seems to be a perfect means of transportation to enjoy traveling because the metro Line 2 that crosses the center is in contact with famous tourist attractions. Today, I would introduce Daegu's tourist attractions located near Line 2!

1. Gangjeongbo Reservoir the ARC @
Daesil Station

Address : 57 Gangjeongbon-gil, Dasa-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu

The first place I would introduce to you is 'Gangjeongbo Reservoir the ARC', a place where you can get off at Daesil Station, Line 2, and transfer for a bus for around 10 minutes.

Located as a landmark of Dalseong-gun, Gangjeongbo the ARC is also a famous tourist attraction for its wide-spread the ARC Square and Nakdonggang River's Bicycle Path.

In particular, the architecture designed by Hani Rashid, a world-renowned architect from the Netherlands, is considered to be so much artistic because it captures the moment when a stone touches the surface of the water durig dapping.

The ARC, also known as a cultural complex, consists of three floors above the ground, starting with the basement floor. On each floor, the exhibition room, the video room, the cafe, and observatory are located, making it an impressive place to enjoy cultural life with beautiful river view.

The ARC is a place that can't be missed even by night view restaurants. The sun emitting light in various colors at the same time as it is dark gives a beautiful view that cannot be captured entirely by photographs. I recommend it to those who want to enjoy the night view with the cool river breeze.

2.  Samsung Lions Park @ Daegu Grand Park Station

Address : Daegu Suseong-gu Baseball Legendary Road 1

The second place I would introduce to you is the Samsung Lions Park, a professional baseball park located right in front of the Daegu Grand Park Station, also Line 2!

Samsung Lions Park, which was completed in 2016, is a place that professional baseball fans would never miss. It is said to be a new home for the Samsung Lions after relocating from the Daegu Civic Stadium baseball stadium.

Samsung Lions Park (aka. LAPAK) is a place with various elements internally and externally. Outside, there were places where you could enjoy simple catch balls from pitching speed meters, and active experiences from old games such as picking up nets and playing squid.

The stadium is filled with various restaurants that you can choose from, starting with a multi-shop where various goods are sold, and I don't think you'll be bored while watching the baseball game. :)

The opening of the KBO League season is scheduled on the 3rd April, and the exhibition game between Samsung and Kia was already held on 20th March, so it seems that there is not much time left for LAPAK to be filled with heat!

3. Daegu Stadium @
Gosan Station

Address : 180 Daegu Stadium, Universiade, Suseong-gu, Daegu

Last but not least, I would introduce you to Daegu Stadium, the place where you can transfer to a bus from Gosan Station!

In the upcoming spring, Daegu Stadium, which is also famous for its cherry blossom scenery, is a sports complex where various events and competitions are held. It is one of the favorite trails of nearby residents and Daegu citizens, as the park and trail stretch out along the surrounding area.

In particular, many people visit here to sit down and take a rest, to escape Daegu's strong sunlight and heat.

Since there are movie theaters, cafes, and restaurants nearby, so why don't you enjoy taking a walk with cherry blossom view nowadays?
