Hyunpung Famous Restaurant Hyunpung Baeknyeon Dokkaebi Market Youth Mall: Daegu Chicken Tteokbokki, Preserved Flower

Today, I'm going to introduce Hyunpung's famous restaurant, the youth mall of Hyunpung Baeknyeon Dokkaebi Market!

There are various desserts including chicken tteokbokki, sandwiches, crepes and so on!

Let's go to Hyeonpung's Baeknyeon Dokkaebi Market Youth Mall.

Hyeonpung Baeknyeon Dokkaebi Market with a long history

Address: Hyeonpung-ro 6-gil 5, Hyeonpung-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu

Hyeonpung Baeknyeon Dokkaebi Market was opened in Hyeonpung-eup in the late 18th century during the late Joseon Period as a local market on the 2nd and 7th. The records here can be found from the Hyangsijo of Jeungbo Munheonbigo. The book began to be compiled in 1770, so the Hyeonpung Market was already open before this period.

The current name is used as the "One Hundred Years Dokkaebi Market" in connection with the 100th anniversary of the opening of Dalseong-gun. In fact, I think Hyunpung Market is the oldest market in Daegu.

In March 2019, a youth mall for young people preparing for job creation and start-ups was opened with an unusual container building. Recently, merchants voluntarily conducted non-face-to-face events such as "Korona 19 Overcoming Citizens' Support Party" and "Youth Mall UCC/Photo Contest". By participating in weekly quarantine activities, sales at youth malls have increased 2.6 times compared to March, the biggest crisis of Corona 19.

Let's meet every corner of Hyeonpung Market!

Hyeonju Tteokbokki is famous for chicken tteokbokki

The meeting of chicken and tteokbokki! It can't be a bad combination, can it? There is Hyunjoo Tteokbokki, which is famous for chicken cheese tteokbokki.

There's a lot of chicken on top of the spicy tteokbokki soup, and there's a lot of cheese on the side. It's Hyunju Tteokbokki, which is reliable for a meal.

You can control the spiciness, so if you can't eat spicy food well, you can enjoy the regular taste. If you like spicy food, you can enjoy the spiciness to the fullest. The long Noodle Tteokbokki is also a delicacy here!

There are Flat dumpling tteokbokki, bulgogi tteokbokki, too. It would be nice to have side dishes such as small gimbap, chalsoondae, and leaf dumplings. There are meals such as Bulgogi with mayo or chicken with rice, Ramen, jjolmyeon, and liquor is also on sale, so I recommend it as a good restaurant for the whole family to enjoy!

Biel:BB with a variety of Dreamcatchers and unwavering flowers

The next place I'm going to introduce is Biel:BB. There are full of beautiful interior props such as a bunch of pristine flowers, calligraphy, and dreamcatcher.

It feels like a flower shop, and it deals with various interior props, so there were many pretty spaces inside. The phrase "I see you like I see flowers" and the lighting remind me of a nice photo zone in a cafe.

Dreamcatcher is a native-born trinket made to mean that Native Americans filter out nightmares and only have good dreams. There is a net inside the ring, with feathers and colorful beads at the bottom of the ring. It is a talisman of the clan and is called asabkeshihinh in Indian Ojibweian pronunciation.

DREAMCATCHERS are all handmade so they are made of various sizes and shapes. They were showing off their different charms. As I bought it for my friend's birthday gift, I thought a little bit about what to choose.

Besides, there are a bunch of money flowers, Money flower basket, calligraphy, allowance bag, and many other gifts.

Crepe Bonbon with the most delicious triangle in the world

The next place I'd like to introduce is Crepe Bonbon, a famous restaurant for dessert. Crepe, a French dish that is made of flour or buckwheat flour and wrapped with various ingredients on top of it. It's easy to eat and it's also a popular dessert because it has various flavors depending on the topping.

At Crepe Bonbon, you can order your own crepe by selecting the base and adding toppings. If it's hard to choose, you can choose the toppings that you like the most after looking at the pre-made photo.

Pour the dough into a heated iron plate and bake thinly, spread whipped cream or Nutella on top of it, then add a variety of fruits and flakes. Then, put ice cream on top and roll it nicely to finish. Personally, I've seen the process of making it several times, but it's always fascinating and interesting.

So, this is today's crepe. I chose that looks like a cute animal, and I also chose fun toppings. I think it was better because I could enjoy a variety of flavors with more volume as I added ice cream.

Strawberries, mangoes, bananas, and other fruits. First, enjoy ice cream, and the bottom is crispy flakes and fruits. It was Crepe Bonbon, where you could taste various flavors including the sweet and sour taste. It's a place where you can eat deliciously and expect to eat some toppings next time.

I've only enjoyed sweet crepes so far, so I thought I'd like to enjoy salty crepes with ham and cheese next time.

Heart Photo Zone with various crepe pictures of crepe bonbon is a must-see!

It was a youth mall in Hyeonpoong Baeknyeon Dokkaebi Market, where there was a variety of food, entertainment, and a deep history!
