Daegu Rooftop Cafe, Bar for Healing (Café Ballon d'Ese, Mondaco, Rooftop Basil)

Today, I'm going to introduce you to two rooftop cafes and bar that you can enjoy comfortably in Daegu!

Café Ballon d'Ese

The first place I'll introduce you to is Siji's Cafe Ballon d'Ese. Siji is located near Daegu and Gyeongsan, riding Wooksu Stream across the neighborhood. It is a place where there are many hidden cafes and restaurants.

Cafe Ballon d'Ese is located on the 5th floor of the building you can see directly inside Uniqlo Alley.

There is a separate parking space at Ballon d'Ese, so please keep that in mind.

If you take the elevator and get off on the fifth floor, you can see emotional props on display in front of you.

The interior of the neat store. The space is divided into walls, and a double-decker, so if you go up the small stairs, you'll also have a sitting table. 

It's quiet and neat, so I think it'll be good for dating and reading books.

Overall, the soft and cozy interior stands out. I didn't know there was such an emotional cafe in Siji!

When you open the big glass door of Cafe Ballon d'Ese and come out to the rooftop, there are sofas that remind you of a sitting bed in the hotel pool side by side. Sometimes looking at the scenery and the sky is healing. 

The Ballon d'Ese is accessible to pets. It makes me feel good to imagine spending time on a rooftop with a dog and a blue sky. 

If you come out through the small glass door in the back, there is also a private space like this. The wooden chair, flowerpot, and lighting are making the summer night atmosphere more prominent.

The hot sun is cooling down, and the blue sky is colored with tangerine sunset.

A cup of coffee looking up at the sky of the sunset makes me forget the heat of the day for a while.

Cafe Mondaco

This is 'Mondaco', a rooftop cafe located near Kim Gwang-seok Street.

If you follow Kim Gwang-seok Street, you will find a three-story building that stands out. 

If you enter the lobby, you will find a variety of clothes along with the counter. The first floor is a clothing store and the second and third floors are operated as cafes. 

Inside the second floor, there is a spacious rest area with comfort. It's sunny and generally quiet. It would be good for studying, too.

If you climb the stairs of the antique design,

The grass and the blue sky remind me of a picnic. The neat logo carved on the white wall and wall is also popular as a photo zone. 

I ordered Americano (3,800 won) and Brussemacarons (2,000 won). 

Macaroons tasted like injeolmi, the cream cheese-flavored filling and injeolmi's savory taste were combined to make it really delicious. I recommend you to try it. 

Rooftop Basil

Rooftop basil, a pub near the north gate of Kyungpook National University in Sangyeok-dong, Bukgu, Daegu! It is a rooftop spot where you can see the lights of Daehangno in an exotic and unique atmosphere. Let me introduce you to an exotic rooftop night where you can enjoy beer while looking at a simple but beautiful night view. 

The mysterious atmosphere of the pink lighting at the entrance to the rooftop basil reminds me of the movies of the 80s. 

The yellow paint color contrasts with the entrance full of pink neon lights. It gives an illusion as if the yellow light is on.

The exotic but emotional atmosphere of the rooftop basil. You can enjoy the night view between palm flower pots and leaf lighting. 

I think the yellow light bulb lights make the rooftop's dream come true. It doesn't feel too heavy, so it goes well with the free-feeling Daehangno.

First of all, the Rscream I ordered came out. (4,000 won)

Rscream is an ice cream that you drink by pouring cocktail that you can choose. According to the order, alcohol-free and alcohol-free options are available.

I ordered red rock draft beer (4,000 won) and sausages (15,000 won). 

The cool night breeze, lighting, and beer go well together. The slightly colorful yellow and pink interior neutralizes the calmness of the night to make the summer night refreshing. 

With beer added, there's nothing else to add. : )
