Let me introduce you to the Apsan mountain observatory!

Today, I'm going to introduce you to a place not far from downtown Daegu where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh air!

It's the Apsan mountain observatory that has been with the lives of Daegu citizens. Shall we meet together?

Besides Palgong Mountain and Biseul Mountain, there is a mountain in front of the city center, making it a light walking course or hiking trail for citizens.

Especially, cable cars are installed in the mountain, so anyone can easily climb to the top and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The view from the top of this mountain is truly magnificent, and it has been recognized for its beauty enough to be selected as one of the top 100 tourist destinations.

Let me show you two ways to get to this observatory.


1. If you want to climb the mountain with fresh air, 
There is hiking trail to the Apsan mountain!

Since the mountain is not small, there are many hiking trails, and I will show you the easiest and easiest way to climb.

It's a path where you can feel the dense forest and nature. Think of it as an hour and a half round trip.

It's an easy course, but there are some roads with high stairs and slopes, so you'd better wear comfortable clothes!

If you walk up the path surrounded by green trees, you will feel refreshed.

After about 20 minutes, you will be able to see a temple where you can feel the calm atmosphere from afar. It is Ahnilsa Temple, the headquarters of the 9th Diocese of the Korean Buddhist Order.

This Ahnilsa Temple contains an interesting historical story that King Taejo of Goryeo was defeated by Gyeonhwon of Later Baekje and hid in Anilsa Temple. What a historic temple!

If you walk up again past Anilsa Temple, you can see the panoramic view of Daegu.


2. When you want to go to the observatory quickly and easily, 
Ride the cable car!

The cable car in Daegu has the Palgongsan cable car and the cable car in Apsan!

The cable car in Apsan mountain, which has the advantage of being able to enjoy not far from the city center, is also easy to find by public transportation.
Parking spaces are a bit small, so be careful on weekends and holidays!

Child round-trip: 7,500 won, Child one-way: 5,500 won

The view outside during the 15-minute cable car travel is fantastic.
You can enjoy the nature of downtown Daegu and the mountains in front of you.

After arriving by cable car or mountain climbing, the observatory looks as if it has prepared a wonderful view for everyone who has worked hard.

If you come in time for sunset or dinner time, you will be able to enjoy more spectacular views.

The sunset quickly disappears, but another wonderful view awaits, which is the bright night view of Daegu.
