Introducing Daegu's traditional Chilsung Market in bukgu

Today, I'm going to introduce you to the traditional market in Daegu.

Daegu's markets, which have been struggling with Corona 19 for some time, are regaining vitality with warmer weather.

It contains the scenery of the market that has survived the hard times and returned to daily life.

Chilsung Market
276-1 Chilsung-dong 1-ga, Buk-gu, Daegu
Chilsung General Market in Daegu is the largest traditional market in Daegu along with Seomun Market.

It's near Chilsung Market Station on Subway Line 1, so it's very accessible and convenient to visit. : )

Chilsung Market is composed of various markets to match the name of 'complex cultural commercial district'.

Thanks to the large signboards that describe what kind of products are professionally sold, it is guided to the market of your choice.

Inside the market, we were selling these fresh fruits and ingredients.

Inside the market, there are various restaurants such as barley rice and kalguksu, and not only the market merchants but also the customers who were shopping in the market were sitting down and eating.

This is Chilsung Market in Daegu, where you can enjoy a generous meal at a low price (Boribap: 3,500 won).

Not only did the merchants all wear masks, but they welcomed us with warm hearts.
Traditional markets with small alleys and small shops can always feel the warmth of the market.

Chilsung Night Market

[way to go]
Follow the sign in front of Exit 1 of Chilsung Market Station

[operating time]
18:00 to 23:00 on weekdays, 24:00 on Fridays and Saturdays

Another pride of Chilsung Market, Chilsung Night Market, is located on Sinchon Street, which is right next to Chilsung Market.

It's easy to find Chilsung Market Station because of this sign that you can see right after exit 1.

The night market is literally a night market, so from 18:00 to 23:00 on weekdays,

Friday/Saturday will be open until 24:00, so please keep that in mind.

Chilsung Market's night market combines traditional and creative foods with a wide range of free markets. It is prepared to be a place where citizens can exchange various products as well as food!

There are about 300 tables and chairs where you can comfortably sit down and eat the food you bought at the stand, so it will be perfect for enjoying the cool breeze from Sinchon river.

If you go down to the night market, you can see another pillar sign, and you can see the harmony between the neon and the night sky with the crowds.

Quite a few people came to Chilsung Night Market:)

There are a variety of foods ranging from snacks, meals, drinks, desserts, and alcoholic beverages!

It was hard to get away because it smelled so good that it was difficult to choose from a variety of different foods as if we were in a different place!

On both sides of the line of stores, there was also a place to sit down and enjoy the food.

Looking at Sinchon river at the night market and enjoying a glass of beer, I think it will wash away the tiredness of the day.

And it also introduced 'Smart Order System', a non-face-to-face ordering service that is hard to find in regular night markets.

This smart order system allows the order to go to the store directly after ordering and paying by selecting the menu on the smartphone rather than lining up in front of the stand.

The aim is to minimize the spread of corona 19! : )

It is made based on the web so that you can access the Internet address (URL) or scan the QR code and choose the menu at the night market.

It is Chilsung Night Market where you can solve quizzes with your smartphone and get discount coupons for each store. So, it is a Chilsung Night Market with various fun factors prepared!

This is the night market you can see in Sinchon river.

The yellow tent is a place where you can sit down and enjoy the food, and you can enjoy the food while looking at the beautiful Sinchon river.

It would be nice to walk Sinchon river after a simple meal at the night market.

The lights of the night market grow on the river to make the sleep more beautiful. There is Sinchon in the center of Daegu, and Chilseong Market is in Sinchon.

Chilsung Market is a general market in the daytime, which is responsible for the table and life of Daegu people, and in the evening, a beer cup of the night market gives people the pleasure of living.

I hope all markets, including Chilsung Market in Daegu, will overcome difficult days and regain calm waves. : )
