2018 is the year of golden dog! Dogs are the most beloved animal company for humans. To celebrate and remind us the great friendship we have with dogs, we prepared 3 dog-themed things you can do in Daegu!


#1 “Dog” Exhibition


Yes, dog exhibitions! At the “Dog” exhibition happening at Ayang Gallery, you will see more than 70 dog paintings and sculptures. These adorable creatures presented in art forms will make you even more in love with dogs!

#2 Cafes with dogs

Café Inhwa
The first café we’d like to introduce is café Inhwa where you will be greeted by a cute Pomeranian. This café has a very cozy vibe and its interior look feminine but not too much. It’s located on Kim Gwangseok St. How about a nice cup of coffee while looking at the adorable creature exploring around the café?

Café Encore 카페 앙코르
The next café is famous for its breads. The signature break is called Ankko. In fact, the dog residing there is also called Ankko. Its vibe is even nicer after sunset. Enjoy a selected menu including drip coffee, milk tea and matcha latte.

#3 Walk dog at Lake


One of the best things about Daegu is that it has many nature spots and parks that you can walk your dog.Suseongmot Lake is a great option where your dog can sniff in many different types of scents from earth, trees and plants. There are also many other dogs enjoying the sunshine so it will be a great chance for a dog to directly or indirectly socialize with other dogs.
