With the first snow over last night, there is no denying in that it’s officially winter! Our super warm winter coat and cozy sweaters are out of closet and it’s time to put on fur boots and… explore this beautiful country! There are many winter specials are going on. For now, we’ve compiled 4 events that are happening this upcoming month!


  Dongseongro Jin St. Christmas Festival  
It’s the last month of 2017, which means it’s time for Christmas! Donseongro will be lit up with all sparkling Christmas decoration during winter and “Jin st. 진골목” is no different. If you are looking for an opportunity to take a photo with a huge x-mas tree. You need to check out this festival!

  Daegu Christmas Fair  
If you like to bring Christmas spirit into your home, check out Daegu Christmas Fair! From little stationeries to Christmas interior items, you will be able to shop for your Christmas decorations.


 Hour Date: Dec 1 – 3  10:00 – 18:00(Last entry at 17:30)

 What to expect: home deco (x-mas decorations, aromas, dishware, home interior), gift(stationary, toys, electronics, beauty/fashion), lifestyle(health&diet, DIY, dishware, supplements), food/drink(cookies, dessert, local specials, coffee), and performance(busking, magic show, balloon show, Jazz performance, dance performance, etc)


  The Watch-night Bell / Winter Olympic Torch Relay  
New Yorkers watch the ball drop at the very beginning of a new year. Koreans watch a symbolic bell ring in each city. Here in Daegu, “the Great Bell Dalbubeol 달구벌대종” officially announces a new year. Unlike western bells, Korean and many Asian bells are enormous in size. It can be a special experience to celebrate a new year in local’s way. What’s special about this year’s Watch-night bell is that Pyeongchang Winter Olympic torch relay continues in Daegu at Gukchaebosang Memorial Park around 23:30. So, check it out if you can. Be in this special moments with us!

  Shincheon Outdoor Skating & Sledding  
Our winter bucket list is not complete without a visit to an outdoor skate rink! This outdoor skate rink opens way after sunset. You will be able to have a romantic date or a fun night out with your friends or kids! Moreover, kids can do sledding around the rink!
