Who doesn’t like food?  Wherever you are from, what we all have in common is that we love food. If you are a lover of Korean food, visit Daegu for its food festival. Today, we’ve rounded up a handful of Daegu’s food-themed festivals.

#1 Chimac Festival

Chimac Festival is an iconic summer festival in Korea. This year it begins on July 19 and continues until July 23. You will love a chance to eat various types of chickens and beers.

#2 Suseongmot Festival

Suseongmot is known for a number of trendy restaurants, cafes and pubs. Every fall, Suseongmot Festivals offers a food festival and other events to attract people of all age.

#3 Red Festival

When the winter chill is finally out of sight in May, Red Festival pumps up the spirit of festival.

# 4 Anjirang Gopchang Town Festival

Since 2013, the famous Anjirang Gopchang Town has host an annual Gopchang Festival. Makchang, which is similar to Gopchang, is such a beloved dish by many Koreans, especially Daegu people. This is why it was selected as one of 10 tastes of Daegu. If not during the festival, you should definitely try Makchang or Gopchang here.
