Dodong-seowon(Confucian academy) designated as Treasure No.350, is considered as one of the top 5 seowon in South Korea. It enshrines the master Hanhwondang Kim Goeng-pil, the best of 5-Big-Wise men in Joseon Dynasty. 

Dodong Seowon is well known for its beautiful scenery in Daegu, with an old ginkgo tree. The huge ginkgo tree guarding the front of the seowon gate is over 400 years old.

The view of ginkgo trees and fallen ginkgo leaves on the road is just magnificent! It creates a spectacular sight of a golden carpet as the leaves fall off. 

Stand below the yellow ginkgo tree and the dazzling yellow leaves will drop around you like snow. This is the moment you should take a picture! 😃
