Traveling Like A Local In Korea
The ARC of Daegu

Autumn is a good season to travel in Korea. Daegu Travel introduces a popular spot in Daegu, The ARC, where you can feel like a local.
The ARC, located in Gangjeongbo where Nakdong-river flows, is a good place for a picnic and the citizens of Daegu go to this place on weekends.

The design of The ARC is inspired by an image of the moment that a skipping stone touches the surface of the water and a fish hops out of the water.

Various exhibits and cafes are in the basement at the interior of the building. When you go higher in the building, you can also enjoy the breathtaking view of the city. You will also see people enjoying outdoor picnic in their tent around The ARC.

Riding a segway is in trend in Daegu, Korea. There are a lot of shops that rents segways. Riding the Segway or a bicycle feeling the breeze from the river is one of the ways to spend a leisurely day like a local.
