  Metasequoia Forest Road at Hosan Park

One of the beautiful streets selected as Daegu’s Scenic Street in 2011.

  Dongsan Medical Missionary Museum

This house built in the early 1900’s was once the residence of the missionaries who established Dongsan Medical Center. This beautiful house mixes the traditions of the Korean Hanok (traditional house) and a western influenced garden.

• Location : Kyemyeong Univ. Dongsan Medical Center(8 min walk from Sin-nam Station, Subway Line 2)

  3.1 Independence Movement Road

This historical road with 90 stairway was named March 1st Independence Movement Road as a memorial to the independent movement against Japanese colonial rule. 

• Location : Left of the 'Jeil Church' building to the Dongsan Medical Missionary Museum

  Gyesan Catholic Church

It was built in 1902 and now it is the only building in Daegu that retains its early 20th century appearance. It generally follows a Romanesque design, but it has some Gothic elements, including spires and stained-glass windows.
