Must-try Japanese Restaurant 'Aloha Donburi' in Daegu Downtown 'Dongseongro' While You Travel in Daegu, South Korea Must-try Restaurants in Daegu Downtown 'Dongseongro'

Are you looking for good restaurants to visit while you travel in Daegu, South Korea?
Daegu Travel would like to introduce a Japanese restaurant 'Aloha Donburi' in Dongseong-ro downtown.

‘Aloha Donburi’, which specializes in donburi (a bowl of rice topped with various ingredients), is located on the right when you walk towards Gukchae-bosang Park from Daegu Department Store.
It is a small place with six tables for four and one table for two.
You will probably have a long wait if you go there during mealtime.

Rice and sauce is given in bottomless refills. In addition, instructions on how to eat is given through a cute small sign board. :)

Mix Katsudon (8,000won)

Mix Katsudon is served with four donkatsus and one fried shrimp.
As you can see in the picture, the menu is served with soup, pickled radish and kimchi. :)

Kimchi Cheese Mix-don (9,000won)

Kimchi is mixed with the basic sauce of Katsudon. And one cheese topped on the fries!
I think Kimchi goes together with the original Katsudon quite well.

Sakedon (10,500won)

Seehow good and delicious this salmon donburi looks like and tempts you.
The seaweed flake is sprinkled on the rice below the salmon.

Yukhoe-don(Raw beef don) (9,500won)

At first glance, you will probably think of it as Yukhoe bibimbap. However, Yukhoe-don lets you feel the flavor of super good raw beef without gochujang(pepper paste). The savory scent of sesame oil and sweet sauce are really good.

Katsudon Bento (10,000won)

If you can choose, Katsudon Bento (with Katsudon, fried shrimps and salmon) is recommended.

Aloha Donburi is open every day (from 11:30 am to 9:00pm) except on Tuesdays.
