    A Blue Star in the Heart of the City, Dalseong Park

Dalseong Park keeps a lot of stories - as numerous as the large thick trees in its dense woods. It is also a very nice place to go for a walk since it has an old fortress inside. This fortress is the oldest in the country and has a 2000-year-long history. Inside the fortress, there is a zoo and a folk history museum, too.

Daegu Art Factory has its humble beginnings from what used to be a storage area of an annex of a cigarette manufacturing factory. It is a six-story building (including the basement) that showcases a gallery, an art information center, a kids’ playground, and an auditorium. It provides space for artists in Daegu to express their creativity and offers the gift of art appreciation to the city’s residents. If you are curious about the current culture and art in Daegu, Daegu Art Factory is the place to be.

    Where it Feels like Festival 365 Days a Year, E-World and 83Tower

E-World is an amusement park located in the heart of Daegu and is a main tourist attraction with a yearly average of 2.5 million tourists. It offers various enjoyable activitiesevery season from Cherry Blossoms Festival in spring, to grass sledding in summer to snow sledding in winter. Also, there is 83 tower which is the highest building in Daegu. Don't forget to visit this tower since it is one of the best spots to see the night view.

    A Treasure House of the History of Daegu, Daegu National Museum

Daegu National Museum is a must-visit place if you really want to know about Daegu. It opened in 1994 and offers a clear look at the culture and history of Gyeongsangbuk-do province. It holds in its possession 3 national treasures, 6 local treasures and has more than 2000 pieces of artifacts all in all, including the Gilt-bronze Standing Buddha of Seonsan-eup, Gumi-si. Moreover, the Fiber Tomb Room, the most special gallery in Daegu National Museum, displays clothes of the royal family, including wedding clothes and other precious clothes. It really is 'Daegu', the 'city of fiber right? The museum also has a special gallery where one can experience our culture and tradition.

Daegu Art Museum is a healing spot known for its artistic building and outdoor park. The high-class artistic pieces are a consolation even without it doing anything.It showcases works of international artists Kusama Yayoi and Zhang Xiaogang, and made 1 million tourists in just 3 years and 7 months since its opening. It is near Daegu Stadium and it is nice to visit these two places one after the other.

    A Theme Park with a Shopping Mall, Daegu Stadium

Daegu Stadium, which used to be the main stage of the World Cup games in 2002 and World Championships in Athletics in 2011, turned into an awesome theme park. It is located in the midst of Daedeok Mountain and is loved by the citizens since it is a good place to relax. It has an outdoor car park, an outdoor theater, and an inline skating rink which offer so much fun.
