World Women's Beach Volleyball Competition held in the inland city, Daegu Korea together with the Chicken and beer festival (Chimac festival) 2015
The famous summer sport, beach volleyball, is only held in the blue ocean and white sands?
The world women’s beach volleyball competition 2015 will be held in Daegu, for the first time in the country, breaking the norm of beach volleyballs held only in the beaches.
It is scheduled to be held in Duryu park baseball stadium in the inland city, Daegu Korea from July 24th to July 26th 2015.
It is not held on the beach, but the size and level of the competition are certainly not ignorable.
Seven strong teams from six countries of Europe, United States, and Asia are competing against each other.
The field was installed with the length of 16m and width of 8m according to the international competition rule, and special sand was used with a regular degree of uniformity through several constitutions.
It is scheduled to be held during the Chicken and Beer(Chimac) festival period(July 22nd to July 26th 2015), and the fun of Daegu summer festival will be multiplied with the addition of chicken & beer as well as the beach volley ball competition.

▶ How to get to the venue, Duryu park baseball stadium?
- By Taxi : If you take a taxi from Dongdaegu Station it will take you about 25 mins and costs 10,000 won.
- By Subway & Bus : Take a subway from Dongdaegu Station and transfer to the bus 503 or Sunhwan 3 at Hyunchoong-ro Station Exit 4, subway line 1. Get off the bus at E-World and walk to the Duryu park baseball stadium about 10 mins. It will take you about 50 mins from Dongdaegu Station to the Duryu park baseball stadium.
