In Korea, March 14 is White Day. It’s your first time to hear White Day, right?


On Valentine’s Day, a girl confesses her love to a boy she loves by giving chocolates while on White Day, it is a boy confessing his love to a girl he loves by giving candies. Every 14th day of month is one of the anniversaries made for lovers, and Valentine’s Day and White Day are most famous. 

Thus, chocolates and candies are making huge sales on February and March.

However, spending a precious time with beloved only with chocolates and candies would be insufficient. So, Daegu Travel would like to recommend wonderful dating places for you. 


Ongki Jongki Village


First place we would like to recommend is ‘Ongki Jongki Village’ which is Korea’s graffiti village just like one in Melbourne, Australia. 

Well-known as a mural village of Daegu, ‘Ongki Jongki Happy Village’ is a good place to go on a picnic and it is a place where you can leave memories with your lover with colorful backgrounds.

E-world 83 Tower
If you enjoy active leisure, the second place to recommend is the ice rink at E-world 83 Tower.

You can be closer as you hold hand and enjoy ridig skates. :)

The ARC


Third, if you like wonderful night view and drive, we recommend The ARC.
The ARC is a complex cultural space where you can learn about four major rivers and waters.
If you visit at daytime, you can view the exhibition inside.

At the end of Daegu where Nakdong River flows, there is Gangjeong Goryeongbo.
And, there is The ARC of which the night view is wonderful!

If you visit to see the night view after the sun has set, you can see The ARC colorfully shining together with the night view of Nakdong River which makes you feel refreshed.
