Daegu, reaching out to the world, is preparing an important event for the earth and humanity.

Are you aware of International Textile Exhibition ‘Preview in Daegu’ that happened few days ago?
Fashion people from around the world filled Daegu Exco to participate in the exhibition.

Next month, there will be a 7th World Water Forum, 2015. 
Daegu City is currently preparing for this event that will be held from April 12th to 17th in Daegu Exco.

What is World Water Forum?

Water is an element that is essential for human life. But around the world, there are a lot of problems happening due to the lack of water and hygiene. Because of this, all countries came together to acquire clean and safe water and solve the issue hand in hand, and thus created the World Water Forum.

Every three years since 1997, the World Water Forum was held after the World Water Day (March 22nd) in France, Japan, Turkey, and the Netherlands. It is a large scale international conference with more than 20 thousand participants from 150 countries including cabinet members, congressmen, and local governors.

This April when pretty spring flowers bloom, Daegu will be filled with the footsteps of people from all over the world.
And one more thing: around the area where World Water Forum will be held, Daegu will open line 3 monorail. Daegu’s lifeline Nakdong River will also have spring migratory birds to give great scenic views.

[How to go to Exco, an event hall for Daegu World Water Forum]

- DongDaegu St to EXCO
: If you get off at the Dongdaegu Station subway, take trunk line #937 at the Dongdaegu KTX Station bus stop, and get off at the bus stop in EXCO front Bus stop. Then, you will arrive at EXCO.
