Daegu International Airport, appointed as ‘no-visa transferring airport’ for Chinese group tourists.
The gate to visit Daegu, Republic of South Korea, is the Daegu International Airport.
Trips of Chinese group tourists who use Daegu International Airport will be more convenient.
It is because the airport will be operated as no-visa transferring airport oriented to Chinese group tourists from Sept 15, 2014.
Previously, in case of entering through Daegu International Airport without visa, they could stay for 72 hours.
Now, they can stay in Korea for 120 hours(5days) by the designation of transfer airport!
They can sufficiently enjoy various tourist spots of Korea such as Daegu, which is known for ChiMc (fried chicken and to drink beer) and ChiMc Festival that appeared in famous SBS Drama’s ‘My Love from the star’ in China, Seoul, Jeju-doetc.
120 flights of chartered plane for Chinese group tourist from 6 cities of China (Xian, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shiiazhuang, Ningbo, Harbin) started from June to October are composed and expected that more Chinese group tourists would return after enjoying the beauty and taste of Korea through Daegu.
