Duryu outdoor swimming pool is located in the middle of the city, however is surrounded by a dense forest. This outdoor swimming pool is only open in summer season. This year it opens from July 7th to Aug 19th. It’s very cheaper compared to other outdoor swimming pools in Daegu, because it’s a public swimming pool. The water quality is examined thoroughly everyday for the same reason. So, this would be the cleanest and cheapest outdoor swimming pool in Daegu. 

This is the children’s pool at the park. It’s a round pool with a depth of 0.4M to 1.0M, accommodating about 2,500 people. There are 50M long water slides in this pool and air slides for children. Life guards are all around the park at all times for you and your children’s safety.

The water slides open four times a day (11:00 ~12:00, 13:00~14:00, 14:00~15:00, 15:00~16:00). You can use them during the specific times. People over 130 centimeters tall can use these slides.

There’s an Outdoor Practice Range for those who want to practice swim outdoor. This pool accommodates more than 2000 people at once.

Safety inspections are conducted regularly during the open hours to remove wastes in the water and check the water quality. Showers and locker rooms are provided and there are snack bars and shops where you can buy swimming suits and other stuff for swimming as well. Bringing food and drinks is allowed so that you can make and bring your own picnic lunch or snacks.
