Brand New Restaurants in Daegu

 



Have you ever looked for a new restaurant because you're hungry but tired of the restaurants you go to every day? For those who are wondering where to visit among the numerous restaurants, today I would like to introduce Daegu's new restaurants, Oeg and Danyeong. Shall we visit new restaurants online?


1. Oeg



The first place I would like to introduce is Oeg in Bongsan-dong, Jung-gu, a restaurant located near Banwoldang Station.



Oeg, which mainly covers Western dishes with bright interiors, has a variety of menus, ranging from chicken burgers to ricotta cheese salads and Roman pasta Putanesca, and I ordered Truffle Mushroom Cream Nyoki with truffle, one of the world's top three delicacies.



Some of you may be unfamiliar with gnocchi, and it is said that gnocchi, a sort of Italian pasta, is mainly made by making mashed potatoes or dough. Oeg's truffle mushroom cream gnocchi is topped with a cream sauce full of truffle scent, and the creamy and deep flavor was impressive.

Mascarpone pasta is food with Mascaponet cheese on top of oil pasta, and when you mix cheese and pasta well and take a bite, it has a thick taste between cream pasta and oil pasta. In addition, it is said that adding the pickling liquid of cabbage pickles in moderation will enrich the flavor, so if you visit, don't forget to add the pickling liquid.



Oeg is also popular on the main menu, but it is said that praline ice cream with almond crumbles on it is also famous, and I was able to cleanse my mouth with sweet and savory ice cream after eating.

2. Danyeong



The next place to introduce is Danyeong, located near Daemyung Station. Danyeong used solid wood and white-toned interiors to give it a cozy feeling.



Like Oeg, Danyeong here is a restaurant that serves Western-oriented foods such as steak and pasta, and its signature menus include soft chuck flap tail steak and fragrant basil oil pasta. The editor decided to taste these two menus.

Shall we take a look at the food? First of all, the chuck flap tail steak with handmade sauce is Danyoung's signature menu made through Subide, and the juice overflowing with soft meat was an impressive menu. Sweet pumpkin and cherry tomatoes served as garnish were cooked in moderation, bringing fun to chew, and soft potato puree was seasoned through a boring taste.

Basil oil pasta is also an impressive menu, and handmade basil pesto looks green just by looking at it, and the combination of fragrant garlic, garlic species, cherry tomatoes, and grilled shrimp gave it a harmonious and deep taste.
