Daegu Yangnyeongsi Herbal Medicine Culture Festival

Yangnyeongsi refers to a herbal medicine market. The beginning of Daegu Yangnyeongsi dates back to Joseon Dynasty. It is the oldest of its kind. It still exists in the heart of downtown. Each spring, Daegu holds a festival to celebrate the rich culture. Some of the main events of the festival includes learning 200 kinds of herbal medicine products, Find golden Kyungbokgo(restorative herb medicine), Oriental Medicinal Herb Triathlon and the Street Parade.

Dongseongro Festival

A great time to visit Daegu’s downtown, Dongseongro, is when its festival is taking place! If you don’t mind bustling crowd, you will love the energy and things happening throughout the days. Booths for events, promotions, snack and caricature are lined up from CGV(Hanil branch) to Samduk Police Station. From singing contest to dance, a variety of performances will surely capture your attention for a while.

Coreopsis field at Sunrise Park
