The peak of autumn season is right around the corner and you know what that means – it’s festival season. Specifically, we are talking about Daegu International Opera Festival! Ever since DIOF first started in 2003, it has increased its popularity among people and recognition in domestic and international operatic world each year. Surprisingly, Daegu is a great place to appreciate operatic productions since talents from inside and outside Korea gather here for the festival. Opera Concertante
It’s not a typical opera that is fully staged. Opera Concertante intentionally avoid costume, stage setting, etc to present you a performance that is heavily rely on music itself.

1. Dress Code Day
At the opening event on Oct12, if you have a cloth or fashion item on that is red, you can receive a small gift.  

2. Backstage Tour

You can apply for a backstage tour during an intermission of a performance. After the opera is done, a guide will show you around secret parts of a stage.  

3. Pre-Concert
Every Saturday at the outdoor stage at Samsung Creative Campus will be an-hour classical performances open for general public.
