Another Weekend, Another Festival~!!

One of Daegu's representative festival, Dalseong Tomato Festival (Dalseong RED Festival) has returned! 2016 Dalseong Red Festival(Tomato festival) takes place in Daegu National Science Museum.

At the annual festa, tons of tomatoes grown in Dalseong-gun area will be used for festivities, and it will get the participants and the streets awash with red pulp.

The festival offers events such as a gold ring hunt, tomato eating competition, tomato juice making contest, building tomato contest and tomato water gun fight. There also will be a tomato parade, pasta brunch experience class and more festivities.

※ The tomatoes used in the festival are inferior in quality. After the festival finish, they will be re-used as compost.
