Daegu's New Baseball Stadium, Daegu Samsung Lions Park!

Baseball is one of the most popular sport games in South Korea.
There are 10 professional baseball teams that are Samsung Lions, LG, Lotte, Hanhwa, Doosan, NC, Nexen, KT, SK, KIA in the country.



Among these baseball teams, Samsung Lions which has their base in Daegu, is having a new home stadium. The new baseball stadium, Daegu Samsung Lions Park, is finally opening this month.
It's getting Samsung Lions and their fans excited also, will be Daegu’s new land mark.



Daegu Samsung Lions Park will provide much convenient facilities to the fans and citizens. 
One of the most features is that stands are more audience–friendly. The distance between the lower stand which is the closest to players and the 1st base, 3rd base is only 18.3m. Audience is going to enjoy baseball games more lively. 





Also, it is octahedrally structured first in South Korea. All the seats are arranged toward pitchers so that audience can focus on games sitting with their backs toward sunshine.

Then, come to join the opening ceremony. It will be held with K-POP singers, GFRIEND, Hong Kyung Min and Im Chang Jung, also with a charity game on March 19, 2016.
