Happy Hanguel Day~!! :D
October 9 is the 569th Hangeul day, a national Korean commemorative day marking the invention and the proclamation of Hangeul (한글), the alphabet of the Korean language.

The original name of Hangeul is Hunminjeongeum which is the native alphabet of the Korean language. Hunminjeongeum is also the name of the book published when the 28 letters were made public in 1446.

Don’t you wonder that who invented the Hangeul?

It was created by King Sejong the Great(세종대왕) who was the fourth king of Joseon-dynasty Korea (r. 1418-1450).
If you want to see him, check the one side of Korean paper money(₩10,000) which has the portrait of King Sejong the Great. :)
