1. Old Guam-Seowon (Confucian academy)




The peaceful Old Guam Seowon is located in the one of Daegu's Alley tours which featured as one of 2012 Star of Korean Tourism. It offers a variety of Korean cultural programs and Hanok stay (Hanok is a house of Korean traditional architecture style)

2. Velvet Gallery Youngdodaum



Youngdodaum is the first professional velvet culture space in the world established by Youngdo Velvet, the world’s largest velvet manufacture company. 
Youngdodaum displays and sells various products developed by Youngdo Velvet such as velvet fashion clothes, bags, scarves, and beddings. Velvet Experience Center and Education Center are also available.

3. Kim Gwangseok-gil Street at Bangcheon Market




Kim Gwangseok-gil Street is a mural street near Bangcheon Market where the now deceased Kim Gwangseok, the singer used to live. 
The 350m long wall has statues and murals depict his life and music. 
Every autumn, the area of Bangcheon Market and Dongseongno hosts a “Kim Gwangseok’s Singing Contest.”



4. Mount Palgong Cable Car




- Operation hours  9:30~17:00
- Fares : Adult 8,000won (Return-trip), 5,000won (One-way)
              Children 5,000won (Return-trip), 3,000won (One-way)
              Adults are defined as those going to middle school or older.

- How to get to Palgongsan cable car

ㆍ From  Dongdaegu Train Station
Move to the right side under a pedestrian overpass on right hand side of Dongdaegu Train Station, take Express bus 1, and after 9 stops, get off at the final stop (Donghwa Facilities Area)(approx. 41 minutes) > Walk to Palgongsan Cable Car (200m, approx. 7 mins)

5. Shooting Experience and Daegu Shooting Range




Daegu Shooting Range has 191,300㎡ of land, 236 indoor shooting ranges and 4 outdoor shooting ranges(Skeet shooting, Clay shooting-3, American trap shooting-1) at the biggest shooting place in Korea. 
Other Facilities are a player lodging, an assembly hall, a locker room, an armory, an ammunition dump, a weight room, a cafeteria and a shower room and soon.

  Sunday - Saturday 09:00 - 18:00
  (Nov – Feb : clay shooting from 9:00 - 17:00 due to daylight limitations.)

- How to get to Daegu Shooting Range

There is a bus that goes here but it is very infrequent so the best way to travel here would be to get a taxi. If you get a taxi from Dongdaegu station it will cost you 15,000 won.
A taxi from downtown will cost close to 17,000 won.
If you do want to catch a bus it is: Chilgok 2 (which travels to the range 8 times a day)

Also when you want to leave the facility the staff will be happy to call you a taxi.
