Weekend Excursion in Daegu city - Preview 3 special exhibition in Daegu Art Museum!

Are you wondering where your family should go this weekend?
Let's meet at Daegu Art Museum and experience the art of daily life! 

They recently opened the first special exhibit at the Daegu Art Museum earlier this year.Visitors can choose from three unique exhibits like 'DNA X archemy', 'present of the human body' and 'Ah, innocence! by Wan Lee'.


'DNA X archemy' 

DNA stands for Design and Art. 

This exhibit contains work from eleven artists (Young Seok, Kim. Mi Gyung, Shin. Phil Yeon, Ahn. Gwang Ho, Lee. Joong Geun, Lee. Heon Jeong, Lee. Byung Soo, Jo. Woo Ram, Choi. Ji Hoon, Ha. Moo Chang, Han) who work with a variety of mediums like sculpting, installation, furniture, architecture and design.

'Present of the Human Body'

The pieces in this exhibit represent the loneliness and alienation of man in infinite reproduction.

Seven Korean artists(Geon Yae, Kim. Ri Woo. Oak Soon, Seo. Sung Hwan, Shin. Hyun Rak, Yim. Jong Hwan, Choo. Woo Chul, Hwang.), Tallur L. N. in India and SUZUKI Ryoko in Japan contributed to this exhibition.


'Ah, Innocence! by Wan Lee'

This is the first private exhibition by Wan Lee. He is from 'Y-artist Project' which has left the Daegu Art Museum. He has a lot of interest in the day-to-day in which we live.

     April ~ October : 10:00 AM ~ 19:00 PM 
     November ~ March : 10:00 AM ~ 18:00 PM

    Address : Sam Deok Dong 374, Suseong Gu, Daegu  (inside the Daegu Park)
    By Bus : 604 & 403 stop on Daeduck Maeul or Samdeokdong terminal  and a 10 minutes walk.  
    By Subway : Take the number 2 subway and get off the subway at Daegongwon station. 
                      (Go out to the Exit 5 and get on the Daegu Art Museum shuttle)
