[Event] 2013 New Year’s Bell-hitting Ceremony at Gukchaebosang Memorial Park



2013 New Year’s Bell-hitting Ceremony 
at Gukchaebosang Memorial Park

2012 is ending and 2013 is only a few days away! How are you planning to celebrate this New Year’s Eve? Every year, Gukchaebosang Memorial Park holds bell-hitting ceremony with Daegu citizen. If you don’t have any special plan, why don’t you come out to the park on New Year's Eve and meet people and share the festive mood?




There will be other New Year events that you can participate! You can fly balloons with your wishes and watch various performances and fire works. Bring rubber balloons and wish papers by 9pm to the park, and you will be able to fill the helium gas on the spot.



Come early and enjoy the beautiful LED lights and take pictures with them!




There will be fireworks at the end of the event!

Daegu city government held the 2012 Daegu Sightseeing Photo Contest two months ago and made some promotional materials with the winning photographs from the contest! This 2013 Photo Wall Calendar is one of them! The photos captured the beauty of natural landscape, famous attractions and exciting events and festivals in Daegu! This calendar with awesome photography will be a very precious souvenir for you!

Have anything special to do during Christmas holiday?! For those who don’t know what to do on Christmas, I made a list of the Christmas events in Daegu! Enjoy Christmas in Daegu everyone! 





  Herb Hillz
 

Herb Hillz is an eco-theme park with special events and programs related to nature. Herb Hillz is not only famous for the summer resort but also famous for winter activity with a sledge park and ice festival. In addition to that, there are lots of rides and attractions such as bumper cars, a swinging ship, a family-oriented zoo, and a variety of cute stores.

  Daegu Bank wish tunnel event


Daegu Bank displayed huge Christmas ornaments in front of the bank square and will provide hot teas and Eomuk(fish cakes) to visitors on December 24th from 6pm to 9pm. If you have a chance to pass by the Daegu Bank, feel free to get free food and take pictures with the beautiful Christmas decorations. You can also post your new year’s wish on the wish board.

  Daegu Solo Daecheop Event

Solo Daecheop is a guerrilla meeting on Christmas Eve. People who don’t have a girlfriend or a boyfriend meet in the park and find their mate. This event will be held in 15 cities in Korea. It will be a huge social event!
